Golden Octopus Foundation RACE FOR GOLD
Drivers from the iRacing Community are joining together to raise money for the Golden Octopus Foundation on the iRacing computer-based racing platform.
The server will go live on Saturday 1st July 2023 at 9.00am AEST with a 30 minute Practice Session, 15 minute Qualifying Session and then the Golden Octopus Foundation 1000 RACE FOR GOLD will start at approximately 9.50am AEST. The race track is a simulation of the Suzuka International Racing Course which is located in the real world at Ino, Suzuka City, Mie Prefecture, Japan.
The Golden Octopus 1000 RACE FOR GOLD will consist of up to 40 cars (more if the grid permits), 80+ drivers (depending on car combinations), and up to 9 hours of racing on the 3.163 miles or 5.8153 kilometer circuit Time Certain. Vehicles involved are the Kia Optima, Toyota GR-86, Honda Civic and the Audi R3 LMS.

Once payment is received, you will be invited to the discord channel and the League hosting the event. All drivers will be requested to be in the discord channel for ease of communication and for any in-race problems which are to be discussed with race control.
